PlazaPalooza Festival is back for a 3rd edition on the Plaza, and it promises to be festive! The event runs from July 10 to 13, 2025, and features a sidewalk sale, entertainment, and a musical lineup reinforcing the commitment to showcasing the diversity of local music.
The third edition of PlazaPalooza is an opportunity for Plaza St-Hubert to renew its commitment to making this event a lasting tradition and to offer an essential annual gathering in the Rosemont — La Petite-Patrie neighborhood.
This event for the neighborhood, by the neighborhood, and open to everyone, offers a variety of street activities. A children's face painting station, bike repair workshops by Lurlu Bellerue, a VR sword tournament with Dracolite, and an outdoor yoga class with Idolem are on the agenda.
An entertainment zone will be set up, allowing you to play various games and sports, such as pétanque, mini-golf, badminton, and molkky in the street. At the same time, a public piano will add a musical touch to your on-site experience.
PlazaPalooza is also an opportunity for you, your friends, and family to discover or rediscover Plaza St-Hubert and its surroundings from a new perspective. Take advantage of your visit to participate in the sidewalk sale and find great deals at the various neighborhood shops.
This year, Plaza St-Hubert is focusing on local artists and offering a musical lineup of Montreal and Quebec talent. Two stages will be set up: the first in front of St-Denis Pool, and the second at the intersection of Bellechasse and Saint-Hubert streets, near Bar Nestor.
On Thursday, July 10, get ready to be swept away by the collaboration between Zamalek and Ausgang Plaza, featuring DJ sets by Andie, Terrell McLeod Richardson from the duo THe LYONZ, Jaywood, and Mr. Touré. The evening will then continue at Ausgang Plaza for a festival after-party with DJ sets by Aram, Juju le Moko, Alina from the Ferias collective, and Fred.
This first day of festivities will also welcome pop artist Laurence-Anne, punk art collective La Sécurité, and psychedelic rock band Population II to the stage.
On Friday, the atmosphere promises to be festive thanks to a performance by the non-profit organization Bonne Famille, as well as DJ sets and rap and R&B performances by Muhoza and their crew (who won the latest Francouvertes) and Täbï Yösha. The band The Shed, considered Montreal's best-kept secret, will also be on stage with several guest artists.
On Saturday, dance and music will take center stage with a dance battle hosted by 100Lux and MDS, while La Murga Ensamble and their guests will ignite the crowd with Latin music.
Finally, because all good things must come to an end, the 3rd edition of PlazaPalooza will conclude on Sunday, July 13, with DJ sets offered by community radios CKUT and CISM.
See you there?
