Summer is approaching, and so is the return of PlazaPalooza!

From July 4 to 7, Plaza St-Hubert, located in the heart of La Petite-Patrie, celebrates the start of its summer pedestrian closure! In partnership with the Borough of Rosemont La-Petite-Patrie and presented by Desjardins Cœur-de-l'Île, this free-access festival promises to be an essential gathering for music lovers, entertainment seekers, and bargain hunters. Without further ado, here's what you need to know as the festival approaches!

The Essential Sidewalk Sale

Looking for great deals? During these four days, the sidewalk sale will allow you to find items from your favorite stores at unbeatable prices. It's the perfect opportunity to refresh your wardrobe, find unique gifts, or simply treat yourself while enjoying the festive atmosphere of the Plaza.

Daily Entertainment

We've prepared a program that guarantees an experience rich in entertainment. Here are the upcoming activities:

Thursday, July 4:

  • 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.: giant games by Les Gars des Jeux (Kobe + Tic-tac-toe at 6302 St-Hubert and Connect 4 + Golf Billiards in front of 6931 St-Hubert)

Friday, July 5:

  • 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.: giant games by Les Gars des Jeux (Kobe + Tic-tac-toe at 6302 St-Hubert and Connect 4 + Golf Billiards in front of 6931 St-Hubert)
  • 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.: skate workshop with Caravane Taz
  • 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.: Ginka and Waykaru – by Imagicario

Saturday, July 6:

  • 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.: giant games by Les Gars des Jeux (Kobe + Tic-tac-toe at 6302 St-Hubert and Connect 4 + Golf Billiards in front of 6931 St-Hubert)
  • 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.: skate workshop with Caravane Taz
  • 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Bike repair workshop by Lurlu Bellerue
  • 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.: MAPP MTL's Station de l'Avenir: A mobile digital creation station powered by solar energy. During the day, the Station de l'Avenir transforms into a workshop collecting animations and drawings from the public. After dark, the creations are projected and come to life, illuminating neighborhood buildings. The creation workshop will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and the projection of completed creations will take place between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. at Bain Saint-Denis.
  • Starting at 7 p.m.: FAMILY SHOW on Saturday evening: To be discovered at nightfall: Pashee, the children's friend, and the Luminous Dandies will captivate the audience with their prowess and luminous costumes. Juggling and interactive animations will dazzle night owls, creating unforgettable memories and a magical atmosphere for young and old alike.

Sunday, July 7:

  • 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.: giant games by Les Gars des Jeux (Kobe + Tic-tac-toe at 6302 St-Hubert and Connect 4 + Golf Billiards in front of 6931 St-Hubert)
  • 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.: skate workshop with Caravane Taz
  • 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.: Brazilian percussionist parade by Terrato
  • 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Bike repair workshop by Lurlu Bellerue

These activities promise to make each day of PlazaPalooza memorable. Come in large numbers to enjoy these varied activities for all audiences!

The Two Stages and Programming

Two stages will be set up on the street: one between Bar Nestor and Renaud-Bray, near the Bellechasse corner (Small Stage) and the other at Bain St-Denis, close to the Jean-Talon intersection (Main Stage). Here's the 4-day musical programming:

Thursday, July 4

Small Stage:

  • 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.: n10.as (DJ sets): LaFHomme, KIJU & Zi!

Main Stage:

  • 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Arielle Roberge (DJ set)
  • 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Gawbé (live concert)
  • 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.: Totalement Sublime (live concert)

Friday, July 5

Small Stage:

  • 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Bonne Famille showcase with: Arsy b2b Nino (DJ set) + performances by Naate NK, Yzabo, Avery Jane and Sajaa
  • 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.: Naima Frank (live concert)

Main Stage:

  • 4:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.: Juju le Moko (DJ Set)
  • 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.: Malia Laura (live concert)
  • 7:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.: Mimo (live concert)
  • 9 p.m. to 10 p.m.: Naomi (live concert)

Saturday, July 6:

Small Stage:

  • 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Music is My Sanctuary (DJ set)
  • 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.: 100Lux presents an afro and house dance battle, designed by Magda and with Lexis & DJ Blackgold on the turntables!

Main Stage:

  • 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Gene Tellem + Gab Rei (DJ set)
  • 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Laroie (live concert)
  • 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.: Milk & Bone (live concert)

Sunday, July 7:

Small Stage:

  • 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Ferias (DJ sets) with Guthrie + Alina
  • 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.: Olivia Khoury (live concert)

Main Stage:

  • 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.: Frikiton closing with DJ sets by Laflame, FabJustFab, Lu B, Nana Zen, DJ Camm and performances by Slow, Gretchn & Mateo

Games, Amenities, and Kiosks

Game enthusiasts won't be left out with Les Gars des Jeux, who will introduce you to a multitude of accessible games for young and old. From Thursday, July 4 to Sunday, July 7, from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., come enjoy giant board games and other surprise activities. You'll also be able to rediscover the street thanks to urban amenities planned for the occasion, including artistic installations, green spaces, and relaxation areas, present as part of the street's first summer pedestrianization.

Programming During and After the Festival

To extend the festivities, several local establishments have surprises in store for you. Visit Chez Ernest, Bar Nestor, Bar le Vestiaire, La Cale Zéro Déchet, Système, Ausgang Plaza, Marci, Double Menton et Saucisson, Brouillon to discover their special programming after festival activities.
